Power of Metaphors!

What are metaphors? They are description what we use everyday to express how we feel about something. They help us to intensify certain feelings of ours. Recently when I was doing a personal coaching session with one of my clients who is a Director of Sales and Marketing for a leading MNC organization, I heard my client telling

I am totally tied up!
I asked, Tied up? By what and by whom?.
The reply was, By my work!
Can you move out of your chair right now? He was bit confused and told, Yeah! .

What Impacts Your Fitness? Stay FIT!

I am amazed at the kind of response for my previous blog posting. Several of you said it was useful and you have learnt a lot. As committed this blog is going to go deeper into the same thought of BODY and FITNESS. What really controls your fitness or you being fat?

FITNESS is 80% Psychology and 20% Mechanics.What I have always understood is when a person is fit is more to do Psychology (mind). If you ask me what is the hierarchy in which various forces influences your fitness, here it is:

1. IDENTITY: As you read in my previous posting, the most powerful force in the human history on ones body is the way you see yourself “ your identity. Who are you? Are you describing yourself as plum, fat, big, lazy, etc.? Check if the same is useful. If not change it today. Start giving yourself a more useful identity like energetic, fast, strong etc.

Super Secret to Lose Weight

Several times people asked me what gives you so much of ENERGY?
I am on stage for over 240 days in a year training people. I definitely
need lot of energy and need to keep the body fit and flexible.

Many also have asked me the following:
How to lose weight?
I really eat less but still I am not losing weight at all!

Have you also come across people who eat a lot but still not putting up
weight? What is the reason? Is this means what we eat (type of food
and amount of food) don’t have any impact in we gaining or losing
weight? That is definitely not the truth.
