Do a PRE-RELEASE Booking of my 1st BOOK ‘101 Secrets of Effective Parenting’

It is an amazing moment to share with you all the release of my 1st book ‘101 Secrets of Effective Parenting’. The book will be in stalls across the Nation by end of August 2007. The greatest news is the book is being published by one of the world best brands and #1 in the country Macmillan.

Several of the BORN to WIN graduates asked me (I struggling to bring out my 1st book for the past two years), how come the title of book is different? Because in 2005 beginning I mentioned some of them that I have done a book on facing interviews and I am negotiating with the publishers. That became like an unreleased movie. The efforts what I took was huge but till now it has not gone for the print. There were publishes who have accepted and still giving some reason not to take it to the print.

Trial by Fire in The Hindu


Born to win One of the participants being prepared for the fire-walk

 

Someone might be capable of a million steps in the right direction, but would never take them because he is too scared to take that vital first step. Yes, the first step forward is never easy, especially when you stand in front of a bed of burning charcoal!

Recently, OnlySuccess Learning Technologies organised a fire-walk for participants in its neuro-linguistic programme, Born to Win. For each participant, the fire-walk lasted a few seconds. But the preparation took many hours.

Certified NLP practioner Vidyashankar encouraged the participants to face the fire that existed in their minds. He asked them to acknowledge their fear of fire. Acceptance of something helps you deal with it in a positive manner.

He called Theresa, a participant from Malaysia, on to the stage. She had to pretend to step through fire. When she showed no sign of fear, he corrected her. You cant do that. You are not walking on a bed of flowers. The crowd clapped and cheered.
